This is USGI parachute cord. It has five inner strands and a braided cover. I find it useful for all kinds of tie-downs and jobs. GI's and campers like to carry some for web gear repairs, tent ties, equipment tie-downs etc.. The inner strands can be used for fishing line or sewing in an emergency
The cord comes in Two, 20 ft. lengths. 5/32 inch diameter.
